We end the 10th edition of the Honolulu African American Film Festival by presenting a collection of short films that highlight the cutting edge of Black cinema—highlighting the accomplishments of Black scientists and artists while diving into the different shades of the Black experience in America. 

A virtuoso jazz pianist and film composer tracks his family's lineage through his 91-year-old grandfather from Jim Crow Florida to the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
