Aharon has devoted his life to raising his autistic son Uri, giving up his marriage and his career along the way,. The trade-off has been worth it: the two live together in a quiet routine that suits them both. But Uri is a young adult now, and his mother is pushing for him to live in a group home with people his own age - a plan Aharon vehemently disagrees with. Here We Are is what happens next: a touching road trip/buddy film that is all about growing up and letting go.
