On March 10, 1945, the US firebombed Tokyo, killing 100,000+ people. Unlike their loved ones, Hiroshi Hoshino, Michiko Kiyooka and Minoru Tsukiyama emerged alive. Now in their twilight years, they seek reparations for those who lost everything in the war, but the Japanese government seems reluctant to formally acknowledge this past.
