Tony Bravo- 'San Francisco Chronicle'

There’s something irresistible to filmmakers about juxtaposing the heroic figure of the American West with the pace of modern life and the big city. The latest in this genre, “San Francisco Cowboy,” had its San Francisco premiere at the Balboa Theater.

The film’s director, Dr. Hassan Zee, said he set the film in San Francisco because of the city’s “reputation for progressive values and unwavering spirit.” The film stars locals Jimmy Darling, Bunny Stewart, Dano Jason and Kristin Jacques.

James Salazar- 'San Francisco Examiner'

'San Francisco Cowboy, shows the grittier side of San Francisco, removed from the postcard scenery of Chinatown or the Golden Gate Bridge.'
