An urgent and complex portrait of Puerto Rico today; an island recovering from Hurricane Maria and an economic crisis while being fed superficial messages of togetherness. Using deeply symbolic images and a colorful group of subjects, the film charts the challenges of rebuilding while facing environmental, political, and communal trauma. When a wave of bitcoin hawkers and real estate developers descent, locals must band together to determine the future of their beloved country.
