Window Boy (Feature Film): Aboard a cruise ship out at sea, a young sailor discovers a door mysteriously leading to an apartment in Montevideo. Meanwhile, a group of Asian farmers find an abandoned shed in the valley, attributing it supernatural powers.

Regret (Short Film): Following the death of his father, a man must survive the manifestations of his inner demons over the course of a dreary night.

About the Pairing:

Two films imbued with both the supernatural and the surreal, Window Boy Would Also Like to Have a Submarine and Regret demonstrate how so-called genre films can be used to tell a diverse and eclectic range of stories.

Window Boy’s contemplative, labyrinthine, and at times fantastical narrative serves as a counterpoint and an almost necessary palate-cleanser to Regret’s dread-infused, nightmarish crescendo towards an ending that stays with you long after the credits roll.
