Middle school is coming to a bittersweet end and Erin (Elliot Stocking) is determined to write a convincing and believable Guide to Kissing Girls—without having actually kissed a girl!
A confident and creative teenager, Erin is the only out student at her school. Most of her days are spent with her best friend Liz (Jesyca Gu) reading comic books and creating fan fiction. Through the stories they write, Erin and Liz explore themes of friendship, first love, adversity, and the changing world that surrounds them. The two best friends have known each other for years and have come to appreciate their carefree life exactly as it is. That is, until new girl Sydni (Rosalie Annikie) arrives at school and Liz accepts an admissions offer to a private high school across town for track and field.
With changes abound, join this cast of brilliant characters on a journey through the halls of middle school ripe with mean-girl-crew one-liners, heartache, growing pains and triumph! Erin’s Guide to Kissing Girls is a must-see heartfelt and hilarious coming-of-age story told through a queer lens—in other words, the middle school revision we all wish we could have.
