Stories that reach into spaces known, unknown and at times unsettling. These shorts programs may differentiate from the shorts programs presented at our in-person festival screenings due to the various geoblocking restraints on each film.

Zoe and Benny are in love. Benny dies the night before Halloween and is reanimated as a zombie. Claire, Zoe’s best friend, has nefarious intentions. Cole Forrest is an Anishinaabe filmmaker and film curator from Nipissing First Nation.

A famous Mohawk ghost, determined to escape the corporate afterlife, is drawn into an unexpected encounter with an identical and partially deceased descendant. Tai Leclaire is a director, writer, and actor from the Mohawk Nation of Kahnawà:ke.

The Prince and the Pauper

In a near future where immortality is offered in a pill, a Secwépemc woman must choose between eternal life and walking the path of her ancestors. Amanda Wandler is a Secwépemc filmmaker exploring identity, legacy, and speculative futures through grounded storytelling.

W7éyle (moon's wife)

John adjourns from his mundane life in order to get his first tattoo. His walk-in takes a turn when the parlour he visits promises more than just ink on skin. Jett Kowalchuk is a Métis, award-winning filmmaker, and interdisciplinary artist from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Please note that not all films screened during the in-person Festival will be available online. Online Festival works are subject to location geoblocking and distribution rights. Access to online screenings starts on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET and ends Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET; this cutoff applies to all forms of access, including online single tickets purchased after June 11, 2026 (which is the last day to purchase for a guaranteed 72-hour access window).
