We all need spaces of protection, exploration and friendship especially when we face a great crisis. Our society's understanding of difference and precarity will lead to a holistic embrace of everyone. These stories are about finding this sense of safety and love in order to live Queer and Trans Joy.



These shorts programs may differentiate from the shorts programs presented at our in-person festival screenings due to the various geoblocking restraints on each film.




This documentary portrays Mónica Chub, a Maya Q′eqchi′ trans woman, and her struggle for inclusion rights in society over the last five years.



Alex PV is a Maya Mam filmmaker known for his commitment to projects that focus on historical memory, human rights, and territorial rights.
