In hopes of making a better life for their family, Essam Soltan, Sherein Mohamed, and Sheri Soltan left Egypt for New York City to take a chance at the American Dream. Without their culture, friends, or way of life, they attempt to find a way to call it home. However, it wouldn’t be until 9/11 and the proceeding events that would challenge who they were and what they were fighting for.
