Stick around after Schwarze Milch [Black Milk] for a Q&A with writer/director Uisenma Borchu.

Two sisters meet again after decades of separation. Wessi travels back to Mongolia after having spent most of her life in Germany. She reunites with her sister Ossi and things are not quite what either sister expected. Stunning shots of life in the Gobi Desert are presented in an almost documentary fashion, while sequences inside the yurt are intimate and almost dreamlike. The film deals with what it means to be a woman in different cultures, how she regains power in each environment and role of sexuality and societal norms.
