A controversial writer is missing in the midst of the biggest environmental crisis in the history of Goiânia, the heart of Brazil. When the media begins to associate his work with violent uprisings taking over the city streets, he embarks on a journey into the future through which he will re-encounter ghosts from the past, crossing the boundaries between the daily life of his neighborhood and the limits of his own fiction.
