Consisting of four short chapters narrated by Montana artist Leslie Van Stavern Millar, My History of Trees is a personal story about an artist's evolving appreciation for trees, illustrated with photographs, paintings, and drawings. My History of Trees encourages the use of one’s creative passion to advocate on behalf of the natural world.
Post-Film Discussion: Black Ram
Get a deeper understanding of the Black Ram megaproject in the Kootenai National Forest from a multitude of perspectives with musician Siri Saeteren and filmmakers Kier Atherton and Rick Bass. While protecting the Yaak Valley from the Black Ram Project is a priority of the film, audiences will also learn more about the aesthetic choices the filmmakers made to help the message rise above the fray.
