Aurora is a short film presenting the experience of a young volunteer in a marine turtle conservation program in the Caribbean. Through their eyes we will get to know the work carried out by the Xcacel Sea Turtle Camp in Mexico, and the effort of the entire team to protect the nests of this threatened species.

Six species of sea turtle once nested on Ghana’s beaches, but only three are seen today. Hoping to stop the decline, Daniel Kwesi Botchwey has joined EJF's conservation campaign in Gomoa Fetteh, a coastal town in the Central Region of Ghana. A local project officer who also happens to be a football coach, Daniel has encouraged his team's players to become sea turtle patrollers as well.
From the Mountains to the Ocean: Turtles of Alabama
Alabama is a global hotspot for turtle diversity and the perfect playground for turtle scientists. The variety of microhabitats traversing the state create conditions for turtle diversity unmatched anywhere else on the planet. This film explores the “glamorous life of turtles” in Alabama -- from the dramatic alligator snapping turtle to the elusive and almost extinct flattened musk turtle -- and the special people who spend their time protecting this critical species.
