The Hidden Kingdoms of China takes audiences into the wilds of China with unique access across the country. Viewers journey through magical realms, exploring five worlds—high mountains, tropical jungles, bamboo forests, great plains and temperate forests. The “star” of each kingdom is an iconic animal; snow leopards, elephants, giant pandas, Tibetan foxes and golden snub-nosed monkeys. Each animal lives within a unique hidden kingdom, sharing these worlds with other fascinating creatures. The team use high specification drones, camera traps and the latest 4k camera technology to engage with animals and bring these hidden kingdoms alive with dynamic drama.
