Devoted father, Aharon, has dedicated his life to raising his autistic son, Uri. The father-son duo live in peace away from the real world, but as Uri becomes a young adult, Aharon recognizes that it might be time for him to live in a specialized home. The decision is made, but while on their way to the institution, Aharon has a change of heart and decides to run away with his son, believing that Uri is not ready for this separation. Here We Are explores the intensity of this beautiful father-son relationship and brings the audience to wonder... was it the the son, or rather the father, who was not ready for the separation?
