Otto and Gerda’s parents are part of the resistance movement in Nazi-occupied Norway. When their parents are arrested, the siblings discover two Jewish children, Sarah and Daniel, hiding in their cellar. Over Otto’s objections, the two pairs set off for neutral Sweden to bring Sarah and Daniel to safety.
