The movie "Sampaguita" is a love story based on a true story.Emilia, a Filipino who came to Japan to become a model,Meet photographer Miki.Two people from other countries are attracted to each other and ask for something they don't have.That is somewhat fragile and fleeting.

Miki kept taking pictures so that she wouldn't miss the moment.However, Emilia leaves Japan after an incident.The story then shifts to the Philippines.

サンパギータは国際結婚の実話を基に描く物語。モデルになるため日本に来たフィリピン人のエミリアは、フォトグラファーのミキに出会う。異国のふたりは互いにないものに惹かれ、求め合う。それはどこか脆く、儚い。ミキはその瞬間を逃さないように写真を撮り続ける。しかしエミリアはある出来事をきっかけに日本を去ることになる。そして物語はフィリピンへと移り変わる。
