Best buddies Amir and Johnny experience the gamut of emotions in this intimate, raw look at a lifelong friendship. As both men approach their 40th birthdays, Amir struggles to come to terms with his crumbling marriage and his daughter’s medical crisis, while Johnny tries to cope with the closing of his once-iconic bar and the end of a 6-year relationship. With beautiful shots of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Snowland is an engrossing, more authentic version of a Hollywood buddy film, in which the two friends set out on a quest of self-discovery only to find that their relationship is the one thing they can always count on.
