Ben (Luzer Twersky, One of Us) is an ultra-Orthodox Jew from Brooklyn sent to save the dwindling Jewish community in Alexandria, Egypt, by serving as the tenth man in the Passover minyan. Soon he’s stranded in the Sinai desert where he meets Adel, (Hitham Omari, Matchmaking, Bethlehem) a Bedouin who has lost his camel, and together they set off on an unexpected journey to fulfill separate agendas. Their cultural backgrounds clash, but eventually understanding and a friendship evolves, leading to a welcome and timely conclusion in this delightful dramedy.
