Based on Antoine Köpe’s private memoirs and a previously unseen archive of unprecedented scope and beauty, Antoine the Fortunate tells the story of survival of a man and his Greek wife during the most turbulent era of the Ottoman Empire.


 

Nefin Dinç has produced six documentary films. She has a MFA in documentary filmmaking from University of North Texas and taught filmmaking at State University of New York. She was also the project director of the Youth Filmmaking Project, teaching young Turkish students how to make short films on democracy and human rights.
