A wooden chest opens, revealing well-hidden secrets. A love story, an honor killing, and the wandering of a great family through space and time. The movie follows the life of a family over four generations. Its patriarch, was liberated from the nomadic Gypsy life at a young age, is educated and integrated into society, but his world collapses in a moment.

Evaggelia Goula is a visual artist and filmmaker. A graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts with a MA in digital arts. Her first film, i itsai Romni, (2017), focused on the position of Roma women, with an implicit comment on woman’s position in contemporary society.
