The 26th of September 1999

Alekos is dead. His teenage granddaughter, Margarita, is stubbornly refusing to go to his funeral and takes advantage of her parents’ absence to throw a party at her place. At the end of the night she loses her virginity.

Three days before Without knowing that this is his last night alive, Alekos attends a reunion of old friends, where he gets to see, after many years, his first love, Lula Leblanc, who is now suffering of dementia. In a moment of clarity, Lula remembers him and makes him confront their past.

Stergios Paschos works as a screenwriter and director in Film and Television. He has written and directed seven short films. His latest Film, THE LAST TAXI DRIVER, was premiered at the International competition section of 64th THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL winning two prizes (GREEK ASSOCIATION CRITICS AWARD & BEST ACTOR AWARD). In 2016 his debut Feature Film AFTERLOV premiered in Locarno Film Festival at the Concorso Cineasti del Presente and won the youth jury prize for Best picture. Also the film won the artistic achievement award at Thessaloniki international film festival, youth

jury award at the Festival International du Film d’ Amour de Mons and the Fipresci award at the Transylvania Film festival. So far, the film has been screened in many festivals, like Sao Paolo International Film Festival, Istanbul International Film Festival, Raindance and Cairo International Film Festival.
