Already unlocked? for access

Animation has been hailed as the world’s most accessible artform, able to communicate stories and ideas through a mixture of sound and image.

As part of our yearly investigation into the animation industry, this years In the Frame panel we will look into what access means to those behind the scenes and reveal the results of a survey commissioned in partnership with ScreenSkills and Visible in Visuals. Panellists include members of the D/deaf community and those with physical and none-neurotypical access requirements who will share their own experiences as we discover if the industry is doing enough in order to provide a welcoming environment to the entire workforce.

In the Frame: Is Animation Accessible? is presented in partnership with ScreenSkills Animation Skills Fund with contributions from UK animation productions.

This panel will be presented with captions as well as American Sign Language and British Sign Language interpreters.
