A humanoid finds a severed, big mechanical hand in the desert, during a period of time that robot junkyards have become roadside attractions. Pandemics and locust plagues have ben scourging the country. He is old, but an inventive man and brings it home to his workshop in the attic, and over the course of many years builds all the missing pieces and assembles his own big robot buddy that he thinks he is in full control of - and through which he is able to relive his his youth as a breakdancer in a big city long ago. The tinkerer has become old and slow... but he still remembers all the moves, and the robot is able to amplify his movements in perfect sync. But the story takes a dramatic turn when he get’s distracted for a brief moment, and doesn’t watch his back.
