Directors Alfredo Hueck & Luis Carlos Hueck will be in attendance at both screenings to participate in a post-screening Q&A.

A charming film based on true events, Back to Life is from the team behind of the highest-grossing film in the history of Venezuelan cinema Papita, Maní, Tostón, the Hueck Brothers, Luis Carlos and Alfredo.  

In the mid-90s Ricardo returns to Caracas after a year in New York. His parents surprise him with a great welcome party and a promising family vacation, but Ricardo prefers to celebrate his return by traveling with his best friends along the beautiful Venezuelan coast. During this trip with his friends, on a paradisiac beach, he feels a sudden pain that will transform his life and that of his family forever.

Alfredo Hueck is a Venezuelan film producer, editor, writer and director. He is known for his professional debut, [YBI-173], and Package #3 (2015), both award-winning.

Luis Carlos Hueck is a film writer and director of Papita MANÍ TOSTÓN, Papita 2nd Base. At the age of 14 he directed his first short film called terremoto, earthquake, and La pelea del Gordo” (The Fat Boy Fight).
