Heading north to avoid the US draft in the summer of 1971, Monty meets the beautiful, enigmatic Marianne. They share an unexpected connection yet when he awakes, she is gone. He spends the rest of the heady summer thinking of her, as he begins to realize the land to which he ran is not as benign as imagined.

J. Christian Hamilton is an emerging female Director from Toronto who is also a DJ, radio host and collector of rare vintage psychedelic and art-rock vinyl with a degree in History and Theatre (University of Toronto, 2012) and Film: Video Design & Production (George Brown College, 2019). Made while a student, her first film, "Agnes" won "Best Drama Short" at Toronto Short Film Festival, 2020.
