Welcome back to the 23rd MKE INT Short Film Fest! We've got an eclectic mix of International and local fare. Right off the bat, we have Caitlin Walter's A Life Developed, an inspiring story of her grandfather's life told through pictures he took. Then comes the winner of last year's Madison 48, Help Them Remember by Studio 88, it's about a young woman employing unorthodox methods to reach the most influential people. The Tattooed Heart by Sheldon Wong Schwartz is drama about a creative writing instructor (Jennifer Morrison) finding herself in great danger when she decides to help her troubled student. Chicago filmmaker, Sean Patrick Leonard brings us Closed for the Weekend, an action thriller about an agent who's running out of time. The Dirty South by Avery Rost is a sport documentary on the life of a motor cross racer. You've Got It All - Rob Duzenberger is an 80's music video parody by Alexander Eberhage. Kat Rodriguez's That It is a documentary about a man who cleans grass and debris from the headstones of his family. Midnight Rose by Vanessa M. H. Powers is a superhero film about the fallout of a teenage hero's nighttime activities. From Scottland is Danni the Champion by Laura Cameron-Lewis, is the story of a young girl who isn't like others, she wants to be a drag racer. No Exit is a unique film by Auden Lincoln-Vogel, that's about people interacting with neighbors in a disruptive way, and then there's the Lithuanian film, Golden Minutes by Saulius Baradinskas starring Billy Boyd as a man who wants to kill himself, but fate steps in.
