A must-see for David Attenborough and National Geographic fans, this impressive and inspiring documentary shot over 20 years reveals the true depth of Israel’s natural geography and magnificent beauty. The Sea of Galilee, also known as the Kineret, is famous for its biblical and historic significance, as well as its beauty. Located in northeast Israel, the freshwater lake is home to many distinctive fauna and flora species, including the native swamp cat. The lake also offers a temporary sanctuary to the millions of birds who fly across Israeli skies on their biannual journey from Europe to Africa.
