How to Get On with Everybody is an intimate and deeply human portrait of Rabbi Herschel Gluck, a singular figure from London’s Haredi Jewish community whose life’s work has been devoted to building bridges across divides. Known for his warmth and playful manner, Rabbi Gluck has quietly become one of England’s foremost champions of interfaith dialogue and community solidarity.

Filmed with an observational lens, the documentary traces the many facets of his world—from his family history and formative years surrounded by Holocaust survivors, to his leadership within Shomrim and his tireless outreach across London’s diverse communities. It also follows his efforts abroad, where he continues to foster dialogue in global conflict zones.

At once tender and inspiring, the film shines a light on how one man’s determined belief in our shared humanity can ripple outward in times of deep division. How to Get On with Everybody is both a portrait of a remarkable rabbi and a timely call for empathy, understanding, and connection.
