Perpetual Journey details the trials and triumphs of five students and their two faculty leaders who undertake a semester-long secular pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago in Spain. In this 1 hour 40 minute visually stunning production with a wonderful soundtrack, the Franklin Pierce team is searching for meaning in their journey and in their lives. They deal with culture shock—the differences in culture, language, climate, and locality, and grapple with the big questions: Who they really are and who they think they are. In this once-in-a-lifetime experience, the students are stretched to the limit. Painful blisters and foot injuries test their sense of endurance as they come to realize that the Camino is “one giant metaphor for life.”
