Aaron Hawthorne, a down-on-his-luck community theater director, sees an opportunity when a successful Broadway producer plans to mount an ambitious production of "A Christmas Carol" in his hometown. Aaron reunites his old troupe and attempts to put on a musical Christmas spectacular of his own, hoping he just might get the Broadway producer's attention and achieve the fame and success that's eluded him for years.
