Director Biography - Min Thiha
He came Yangon to learn filmmaking and was selected as one of the 12 participants at Documentary Filmmaking Workshop organized by Human Dignity Film Institute in 2015.
In 2016, he make his first documentary “Missing Footprint” with other two filmmakers from HDFI workshop and won Peter Wintonick award at Human Rights Human Dignity International Film Festival 2016. Next year, he make the new documentary project, named “Bog Boy” about the street children in his native. In this project, he make all of the production works such as camera, sound, editing, directing, etc.. himself. Bog Boy was officially selected in HRHDIFF 2017. Some months later, he make third documentary film, “Crocodile Pond”.
For fiction films, the two short films “sorry” and “To” which he produced were selected in Myanmar Micro Film and won Special Award and two consolations awards in 2017 and 2018 MMF.
And now, he is working in his new fiction film project running in Pre Production stage.
