In 1957 Frank Cancian, a young American photographer, captured nearly 2000 images in a small Italian village. His work documented the environment and community with warmth and modesty. Sixty years later, Cancian revisits and is embraced by the villagers, many of whom remember him and his work.

Joel Light learned to sing classic show tunes and barbershop standards from his mother, Arlene, who performed in Sweet Adelines as a young woman. Now, as she battles dementia, Joel must help her recall the same songs she once taught him.
