Recognizing that the economic disparities resulting from privilege and exacerbated by the pandemic are a barrier to engagement, the North Dakota Human Rights Film and Arts Festival has completely removed financial barriers to engaging with the festival. I AM invites an intimate view into an African-Australian experience. I AM reveals a sophisticated relationship of how it feels to be Australian in a country where being African separates Charity from the considered norm. In contrast, I AM offers a visually-poetic journey of finding solace in the African-Australian experience.
