MOKOSH is an abstract response to the current geopolitical situation on the Polish-Belarus border and features the handcrafted textiles of fashion student and filmmaker Sophie Safinowska. The geopolitical situation is enhanced in film, quoting those with power and the oppressed.
The fashion collection is crafted from linen and jeans as a connection between traditional fabric and modern textiles. The handmade print is an interpretation of Belarusian embroidery, not widely known, although being part of East-European heritage, especially Slavic.
