Recognizing that the economic disparities resulting from privilege and exacerbated by the pandemic are a barrier to engagement, the North Dakota Human Rights Film and Arts Festival has completely removed financial barriers to engaging with the festival. A middle-aged driver, Kazakh Yergalym, who is trying to find the meaning of life in material gain, files for divorce from his childless wife. At this time, a 12-year-old boy, Uyghur Farukh, escapes from the orphanage.


Fate unexpectedly brings Yergalym and Farukh together, changing the lives of both.
