Director Biography - Braden Swope

Braden Swope is 22-year old, persistent and inspired filmmaker born and raised in Southern California, who has fallen in love with every role underneath the umbrella of filmmaking. In 2019, he won Best Direction at the All American High School Film Festival for his high school thesis short film, which gave him the momentum he needed to complete his first feature. Bringing his feature-film debut "Human Resources" to life at the age of 19 gave him the opportunity to diversify his skill set by holding a direct role in every step of production. "Human Resources" has since gone on to win Best Picture and Best Director at the LA Crime & Horror Film Festival and has also been screened at two other festivals. His filmmaking adventures are only just beginning, as he continues to make movies that tell larger-than-life stories about the bizarre and offbeat characters that he and his brother Evan have been creating since they were children. Currently, the Swope brothers are writing their second feature, a whacky dark-comedy with the scale of an intense thriller.
