This past year NFFTY launched our new challenge platform, the Level Up Challenge Hub! Each quarter we present a new challenge, we are pleased to present finalist and winning projects from each challenge here in our virtual NFFTY 2022 festival lineup for you to catch up on some of the best work from our 2021-22 programming season.

Our Winter 2022 Narrative Editing Challenge put filmmakers to the test to create an original story out of production audio and stock footage (they could record original VO) in under five minutes. Our Summer 2021 One-Take Film Challenge required filmmakers to make a movie in one continuous, unedited shot, less than three minutes (but more than one!).
