Pino is a child animated by an unbridled desire for freedom and boundless courage . He starts his journey into life, with the willingness to demonstrate that he also can live like all the other kids. “Glassboy” remembers us that in the end all kids feel a bit like Pino, fragile and maybe a bit not accepted. All parents, too, share Pino’s parents same fears, hopes and expectations.
Samuele Rossi (Lucca, 1984), starts his journey into filmmaking in 2011 directing “La strada verso casa” (The road to home), obtaining excellent feedbacks of both Italian and abroad critics. Founder of the Cinema Production house Echivisivi, he is also a member of the board of directors of Festival dei Popoli in Florence. He has also directed a number of documentaries, among which we find L’uomo che scriveva sull’acqua (The man who used to write on water), finalist at Nastri D’argento Doc 2017, and Biografia di un amore (Biography of a love).
