<p><em>Towards the end of 1919, in one of the many evenings spent at the Caffè Casoni, Count Camillo Negroni asked his bartender friend to add a splash of Gin, rousing the curiosity of the patrons, who from that moment also started to order their “Americano” cocktails in the style of Count Negroni. From there to simply calling the drink “Negroni” was a short and easy step.</em></p>

Penn Cinema & Media Studies, in collaboration with N.I.C.E. - New Italian Cinema Events, presents the 2021 edition of NEW ITALIAN CINEMA EVENTS. The festival has been organized by Nicola M Gentili with N.I.C.E. directors Viviana Del Bianco, Claudia Morini di Tocco, and Mila Tenaglia.                                                          All the movies are available for streaming from Friday, December 3rd to Sunday, December 12th.  

This year N.I.C.E. Festival gets to the usual rendez-vous of November into an innovative and renewed formula, which intends to build on the trials launched during the pandemic. This year's selection remains faithful to its mission: knowledge and value of new Italian cinema.
