2025 marks fifty years since the fall of Saigon, an event that reshaped the Vietnamese diaspora across the globe. This block of four short films centers the voices of those who left everything behind and the generations who have carried those stories forward. Through personal testimony and memory, this program acknowledges both the struggles of displacement and the resilience of communities who built new lives far from home.

This film tells the story of Hoa Thi Le and Hue Nguyen Che, who, in 1975, after fleeing the Vietnam War by boat and docking in the Philippines, were utilized as background extras in the filming of "Apocalypse Now."
