A young boy witnesses his Mother's sorrow as his Father leaves, and utilises his magical talent to bring joy to her life. Realising he is a constant reminder of their past life, he uses his gift one last time.

The Gift

In a dehumanized world where emotions are rationed and measured by a gauge, Pipo, a factory worker falls in love with a woman sitting on a bench. He will try anything to attract her attention and seduce her with his own language.

Lin wakes to find their room filled with dark water, a sight all too familiar. Resigned, they submerge themselves, and sink into the darkness. Battling waves and torrents of water, Lin must find something to hold onto, or risk losing themselves to the abyss.

Downburst

A working-class fable about a biker, a mermaid and three shades of blue. Jena Malone plays a swimming star whose Olympic dreams were dashed by an unplanned pregnancy. She is reunited 15 years later with her high-school sweetheart (played by Pablo Schreiber) who is an ex-con newly&nbsp;released from prison trying to fit back in.&nbsp;The realities of working-class life, family strife, and shattered dreams make their presence felt.
