In Honour of our first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and in the spirit of community, standing shoulder to shoulder with Indigenous peoples, OFFA and Grandmother's Voice would like to offer this free screening of their most recent documentary, "Grandmothered" which focuses on the incredible work seniors are doing on behalf of the their communities. The Screening will be followed by a Q&A.

When you think of social justice activists, most people don't think of seniors, but this group of Grandmothers in Ontario's Halton region have been fighting for justice, equality, and the environment for over half a century. Presented by Grandmother's Voice, "Grandmothered" looks at the work these grandmas are doing to make the world a better place for everyone. Grandmothers Voice is a group of unified Indigenous people creating a safe, secure community that advances education, knowledge, and understanding of Indigenous cultures and practices.  It is by sharing the knowledge of the Ancestors and their offerings that we discover a new kind of HOPE. https://www.grandmothersvoice.com/home
