The Moroccan-Dutch Karim returns home to tell his parents that he is gay. It’s a process he has been dreading for a very long time, but he must do it. The difficult conversations in the days that follow evoke beautiful and poignant memories that teach him that he has to break through and confront the culture of silence in his family.
