Bambino and Bawa develop a connection while on a photography project in Lagos. Bambino struggles with his own identity, leading to conflicts in their relationship. After a heartbreaking incident, Bambino re-evaluates his feelings but ultimately chooses to end his involvement with Bawa, which leads to a tragic outcome. Apalowo tells a restrained and tender story of two men who get close in a society where same-sex sexual relations are considered taboo and are liable for prosecution. Their dance around each other unfolds slowly in concentrated and quietly beautiful images. Winner of the prestigious TEDDY Award, All the Colours in the World are Between Black and White is a sensual and politically important film about finding love where you least expect it.
