Veneno, a rebellious young drifter, survives by drifting between roadside diners and fleeting encounters with truck drivers. Desperate for a ride, he crosses paths with Muñeco, a guarded long-haul driver who prefers solitude. Veneno persuades him to take him north, plunging them into the hyper-masculine world of long-distance trucking across Mexico. As the miles pass, an unexpected intimacy grows between the two men. But when unresolved shadows from Veneno’s past resurface, their fragile connection puts both of their lives in danger.
