Drip Like Coffee is an intimate portrait of a Black woman whose desire for her female co-worker complicates her relationship with her boyfriend.

In the gentrified community of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, a Black barista attracted to her co-worker, struggles to establish a private space, outside of work and home, to explore her desire for this woman. In a relationship with a partially homeless boyfriend, living in her bedroom temporarily, the Barista is faced with his hurt and anger when he unexpectedly interrupts an intimate moment between the two women in her bedroom. Unsure how she'll navigate both relationships, she must confront her own want for space beyond sexual exploration.
