A man takes a tumble out of his wheelchair and meets a chicken while he's down on the ground. His 25 year-old daughter, Angel, cares for him, and when the chicken makes its way into the house, he insists on having the chicken stay. Seeing the happiness her father is experiencing, Angel plays into his delusion and treats the chicken like a house guest. But the pressures of caring for her father's needs, as well as the chicken's, begins to mount and she grapples with the idea of leaving him.

The female driver, with a stiff spine and sharply curious eyes, watches the cat-like passenger's every move. The two women engage in harmless 'girl talk', until one manages to offend the other. A quiet tension fills the air. The passenger gets the spins and lays down in the back seat. As the passenger sleeps, the driver pulls into an abandoned parking lot.

Blame Them explores the consequences of young girls not being taught or encouraged to have healthy relationships, sexual agency, or bodily autonomy. The script was inspired by the writer's own experience in an all girls private school in NYC and was created with a desire to confront students' lack of sexual education, in New York and beyond. It tells the story of a high school student who, after learning she has chlamydia, must call the boys who may have infected her.
