In 1963, Melinda Williams was a teenage girl living in Americus, Georgia. She was one of fifteen girls who were arrested for peacefully organizing and protesting segregation in the region. The next day the girls were transported to the Leesburg Stockade. Where they were held for 45 day. Many of them were traumatized by the event, and never spoke of it...until now.
